Pan Card Issue

  • You can apply for the Pan Card in two modes.

    • Physical Mode
    • Digital Mode

  • In Physical mode, you have to send the physical copies along with the PAN Application form to the nearest UTIITSL center.

  • In digital mode, applicants do not have to submit any physical copies. The application forms will be signed using an Aadhaar-based eSignature.

  • After the mandatory verification of the applicant’s information, the application is processed within a time span of 15-20 days. In cases of corrections, processing of the PAN card correction application form takes a little longer and the card is issued within 25 days.

  • If you do not send a hard copy of your PAN Card to a nearby UTI office then the PAN number will be canceled by the Income Tax Department.

    • PAN application Form (Front Page & Backside) and supporting documents like POI, POA, and DOB Proof as provided by the applicant. These documents should be scanned in 200dpi color - PDFA format (Size: Maximum up to 2MB)
    • Photo Scanning 300 dpi, Color,213 X 213 px (Size: less than 30 KB)
    • Signature scanning 600 dpi black and white (Size: less than 60 KB)

  • You can send the documents to the UTI office within 3 months. If you do not send it, UTI will cancel the PAN or will be liable to issue a penalty.

  • The processing fee to apply for a PAN card is Rs.107. If Applicant wants only an E-Pan card then the payable amount will be Rs. 72 (in case of correction).

  • For e-PAN only Rs. 5
    For both e-PAN and Physical PAN Rs. 7

  • In such cases, Left Hand Thumb impression of the applicant should be affixed on Form 49A at the place meant for signatures. It should be attested by a Magistrate/ Notary Public/ Gazetted Officer with the official seal and stamp.

  • No, You don't need to upload the customer documents if you have applied for a PAN card from the Digital Mode. But, you need to verify the application using OTP verification.

  • It comes when the customer's Aadhar number is already linked with another PAN card which means the customer already has a PAN Card.
